In the Bible, hospitality is a sacred, active expression of God's love, involving the selfless serving and welcoming of strangers, vulnerable people, and fellow believers, rooted in the concept of "loving strangers" and serving as a reflection of Christ's own sacrificial service.

We are all "pilgrims on a journey"; we are travelers on the road; we are here to help each other walk the mile and bear the load." Sometimes this means giving a genuine smile as you greet your neighbor. It could also be inviting others to join a ministry you enjoy. As members of St. Teresa of Avila, we all need to work to assure that, "All are welcome in this place." Hospitality committee plans and shares in upcoming parish activities.

Activities may include: Receptions, (OCIA, PSR, etc.), church anniversaries, Valentine's Day events, Fat Tuesday events, chili cook-offs, new priest receptions, and the annual parish picnic.
